Enemies of Humanity

Regardless of the justification or the individual responsible, anyone who initiates a war is an enemy of humanity.

These justifications may take the form of "expanding Germany's Lebensraum," establishing a "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere," "liberating western Russia" or "halting NATO expansion," or even "eliminating Iran's nuclear facilities." No matter how reasonable the pretext may appear, and whether the aggressor is Hitler, Japanese militarists, Putin, or Trump, the consequence of initiating war remains the same: the mutual slaughter of human beings.

The cost of war, at best, plunges countless ordinary people into mutual bloodshed, the destruction of their homes, and enduring hatred. At worst, it could push humanity toward irreversible catastrophe, potentially leading to the annihilation of human civilization—and even the human species itself—on Earth.

In human society, the most precious thing is human life—not the self-proclaimed national interests, security threats, grand unification projects, or historical missions of any political figure. We must reject the ideology that seeks to legitimize war in the name of lofty "just" causes.

Whoever they may be, and whatever banner they march under, anyone who deliberately drives humanity toward war must be universally condemned and resisted as an enemy of humanity.
