Do You Still Remember

Do you still remember
That tender, lingering embrace?
Do you still recall
That vow to never part?

I always thought love was eternal,
Only to find eternity lives but in a moment.
I believed that moment would never fade,
Yet everything had already shifted beneath the stillness.

In this vast, boundless world,
Who has secretly traded love for hate?
We can never return to where our love began,
Left to watch indifference run wild and spread.

In the instant we turned away,
We had already drifted so far apart.
Even the silhouettes have vanished into air,
Leaving only tear-streaked eyes upon waking from the dream.

Stars shift and seasons turn;
A fleeting glance spans a thousand hazy years.
You and I, cycling through this mortal realm—
When will we finally see through the illusion of love?
